About the Event

AT THE END OF THIS MODULE, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO:

  • The history of hypnosis and hypnotherapy and learn why it’s so effective. The principles and terminology of hypnotherapy as well as the issues hypnotherapy is useful for and who it’s not helpful for.
  • The myths about hypnosis and what’s the truth.
  • The brain in hypnosis, the levels of trance, how to successfully access and identify the different brain wave levels to have a scientific understanding of hypnotic phenomena.
  • The therapists that were the greatest contributors to developing hypnotherapy into the therapy it is today bringing hypnotherapy mainstream.
  • The styles of hypnotherapy – indirect and direct, permissive and authoritarian – and when and who to use them with.
  • You will also continue to learn and deepen your practice on how to use hypnotize someone and assess hypnotizabilty as well as using physical gestures and movements in hypnotherapy.
  • You will discover the four main therapeutic objectives of hypnotherapy, suggestion and imagery, discovering the cause of the issue, releasing and subconscious relearning and be given resources for all of them.
  • The difference between working with children, adults and teenagers and how to adjust your approach with each age group.
